"As We Go On, We Remember"

Hey!

I didn't get to write yesterday--it was such a busy day from morning to night! This weekend was quite unusual! First, I watched Grey's Anatomy season 8 (?) finale with my mom on Thursday night... hahaha I video taped our reactions and have a link below.... I think the video will basically explain itself...

Second, I'm finally done with my freshman year of college! WOO-HOO. It's weird to think that I'll never be a freshman again. What a year.... I hope next year is nothing like it, though! After my last final I had work, and I have to say,  I love my co-workers--they make work interesting!

Third, my old classmates from Wayland graduated on Sunday. I would have graduated with them, but instead I graduated a year early. So technically I'm a graduate of 2011. But, I was not allowed to walk the stage to receive my diploma back in 2011, so it was hard to not have an official ceremony like everyone else. This weekend has been made up of a million flashbacks to middle/high school, interwoven with new situations. I always thought I knew how this day would go, but again I found a way to make things different for me. I never made it to the actual ceremony itself...
but I was able to go to the senior party to say goodbye to some. I rekindled and began friendships with a few people while I had my semester here, and I will miss them. Keep in touch.

Fourth, I want to thank my beautiful mother for taking me to Madison today to eat sushi at Takumi and shop at East Town Mall :)

A few of my Facebook friends graduated from college these past two weekends. It makes me feel so old and like time is flying by. But then I remind myself I still have two months until I'm 18. Then I'm just confused about time.
I love those moments when you think you need to go to class, but then you remember that you're on summer break. Best feeling EVER!

Now go thank your mothers for all the shit (you) they put up with. ;)
XOXX,
Lizzie
